We’re enthusiastic to announce a new video clip celebration series, Cooking with the Cap Times, hosted by our meals editor, Lindsay Christians.
Each individual month, Christians will host a one particular-hour Zoom dialogue with a Madison-region chef that will include things like a stay cooking demonstration. The initial will be on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. with Evan Dannells, the chef and co-proprietor of French-motivated Cadre on the city’s in close proximity to west aspect.
Dannells is a classically educated chef who has worked at L’Etoile, Merchant and Lucille. Through the coronavirus pandemic, he and his staff have been experimenting with cuisines from all about the entire world — taco nights, Russian feasts, celebrations of Turkish avenue food and ease and comfort delicacies of the northern Midwest.
