There are usually a huge array of vegetation and flowers at the Haupt Conservatory at the New York Botanical Yard in the Bronx. For the next 3 months, hundreds of varieties of edible vegetation are growing in and all over the landmark constructing.
“Some of these vegetation we take in the tubers, some of these plants we take in the stems and the leaves,” claimed Brian Sullivan, vice president for Glasshouses and Landscape at the backyard, where an expansive exhibition named “All-around the Table, Stories of the Foodstuff We Love” is on display by Sept. 11.
It explores the botanical origin and use of crops, plus the cultural features of plants and the stories guiding the food stuff we take in.
